And, unlike other resources out there, this book has ADL instructions for left AND right hemiplegia, transfers to the left as well as the right, etc. The book has treatment guides, patient education handouts, patient exercise handouts, and much more! One of the many things I like about this book it that it shows with clear illustrations and text the donning AND doffing of clothes with adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques. IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO BUY A GIFT for an OT friend or family member, this is the first resource I would recommend. The author also sells a digital edition on her website with ADDED Spanish materials–it’s worth the extra $20 to get it. This is the practical text that the OT needs for working in the field.
